Installing the Independent Front Suspension (IFS) and the Rack and Pinion Steering

FOLLOW US SHARINGNow that everything is setup, I am going to go ahead and install the front suspension. Like I said in earlier posts, the documentation was very well written and clear. So it is a matter of having the right tools and going through the instructions. Few things missing which I was missing when I started, I was able to get at Amazon. Loctite and a nicer torque wrench than the one I had. I went with a TEKTON. Nice tool, does the job, comes in a hard plastic case for storage when you are not using it. The rest […]

Installing the front suspension

FOLLOW US SHARINGThe Rod & Custom front suspension is a weld-in. And given the decision to put a Coyote in the car, I had to remove the shock towers to make room for the beast. I ventured and bought myself a plasma cutter to quickly be able to cut the metal and get the area cleaned up. The shock towers needed to go, the brackets removed and the area cleaned to be prepared for the welding.
